Australian incumbent telco Telstra Corp Ltd is to resell internet services from GX Networks Ltd in mainland Europe, under a deal signed with GX parent Internet Technology Group Plc. GX provides web hosting and net connectivity services to corporate users in the UK, and Telstra will now resell these to its business customers in mainland Europe under the GX Networks Reseller & Promoter Program. Services include leased lines and high-bandwidth always-on connectivity for larger enterprises, as well as web site hosting from entry level to dedicated server packages with ethernet connections. ITG’s share price closed up 3.4% on the London Stock Exchange following the news.
