TELETTRA, TELENORMA PLAN TO JOINT VENTURE COMPANY

Having pulled its Telettra SpA unit out of a merger with Italtel SpA, Fiat SpA has been energetic in lining up international partners for Telettra, and the latest is the Telenorma unit of Robert Bosch GmbH of Frankfurt. The two plan to form TTN Sistemi di Communicazione SpA with 140 employees in Milan – 51% Telttra, 49% Bosch, to handle joint marketing of the two companies’ private switching systems – PABXs.
