Telesoft AB announced from its US base in San Diego that it has two more real-time Ada crosscompilers, namely RISCAda/Sparc/R3000 and RISCAda/Sparc/80960: they enable developers to write on Sparcstations for the R3000/R4000 and 80960 RISC processors; they include an X Window System-based graphical user interface; the ARCS tool box, an Ada-knowledgeable programming environment; library manager and tools especially for coordinating large teams of programmers; the AdaTracer graphical source level debugger; a profiler for dynamic analysis and performance tuning of Ada applications; applicable cross assemblers; a smart linker and related tools that exclude unused subprograms; downloaderreceiver tools; and language productivity tools; PaineWebber Development Corp initially funded the developments as part of its $8m research and development investment in TeleSoft; the Rseries version is due next quarter at $21,000 to $42,000 depending on the configuration, and the 80960 version will be out first quarter 1993.
