The flood of Internet phones continues, and Vancouver, British Columbia-headquartered Telescape Communications Inc has launched its own offering, which is differentiated by also enabling users to transmit data files and still images. It is said to be full-duplex for users with a sound-board and runs under Windows, Windows95 and Windows NT. There are said to be no limitations on the image and file formats that can be transmitted, and the company said it is working on incorporating moving images and videoconferencing, although no time scale has been set. Telescape is currently offering fully-functional preview versions free on its World Wide Web site at http://www.telescape.com
