Telefonos de Mexico SA and Sprint Corp have formed a joint venture to market long distance service to the US Hispanic market. The new company, as yet unnamed, filed an application under Section 214 of the Communications Act with the Federal Communications Commission for authority to carry international traffic to and from the United States.
