The network will be connected to Tele Danmark’s fiber optic network in Denmark as well as to the new 2,700-kilometer fiber optic network in Germany and will connect more than 10 European metropolitan areas.
The entire North European fiber optic network, which will be of a length of almost 6,000 kilometers, will become part of Tele Danmark’s international infrastructure, TeamNet. The network will be put into service on a continuing basis and will be fully operational by the end of this year.
