TDC will be the new common name for the Group. The individual business units in the Group will also change names: Communications Solutions will change name to Tele Danmark. The rest of the business units in the Group will be called: TDC Mobile, TDC Internet, TDC Cable-TV and TDC Services. When the Swiss companies sunrise and diAx have been merged, the new company will be called TDC Switzerland.
The name change will make it more clear to the customers, that Tele Danmark has organized the company into seven different business units. The name change also illustrates that Tele Danmark is a communications business, and not just a phone company anymore, says CEO Henning Dyremose.
The name change has to be approved by the next Annual General Meeting.
