The company plans to grow its existing Tektronix Engineering Development India Ltd. (TEDI) staff of engineers by 30% per year, over the next three years, creating a software development center that will coordinate product development with Tektronix engineers around the world. Headquartered in Bangalore, TEDI will focus on integrating its resources into four key competencies – distributed systems, digital communications, wireless telecommunications, and microprocessors and busses – all in support of the company’s strategic focus on the computer and communications markets.

Tektronix is poised for growth in India and around the globe, leading the industry in technology and business innovation. We are excited about the opportunity to grow our presence in this critical market both as an employer and as a supplier to key customers in India, said Rick Wills, president and CEO.
