TEKNOWLEDGE HANGS OUT “FOR SALE” SIGN

There are signs that the long dry spell for artificial intelligence companies may be coming to an end, but it looks to have come too late for Teknowledge Inc: the Palo Alto, California company where General Motors Corp and Procter & Gamble are shareholders has retained Hambrecht & Quist Technology Partners to assist the company in its comprehensive merger and acquisition programme… to leverage the company’s operations and enhance shareholder value, – a round-about way of saying that the company is for sale. H&Q Technology Partners has been called in because of its experience in arranging marriages between emerging high tech companies and major US corporations.
