Under the five-year agreement, TechTeam will provide helpdesk support services for Philip Morris International’s (PMI) information technology infrastructure in Italy, the UK, Poland, Switzerland, Germany and France. The support will be provided in five languages for more than 9,000 employees and delivered from within PMI’s Krakow, Poland-based shared services center.

Under the current scope, the contract will generate an estimated $4 million in revenue for TechTeam.

By utilizing TechTeam’s proven single point of contact support services model, PMI will be able to further standardize user IT environments and 24/7 support processes, resulting in improved quality and reduced total cost of ownership, noted Christoph Neut, TechTeam’s senior vice president for the EMEA region.
