London SW1-based Technology Project Services Plc, which supplies engineering and technical support staff on a contract basis, appears to be reaping the rewards of management decentralisation as it reported annual pre-tax profits up 45% to just under UKP2m on turnover that grew by 30% to a little over UKP14m. The company is providing technical support to more than 92 clients in over 45 locations and intends to broaden its geographical local coverage while keeping London overheads low. In terms of its worldwide business, Technology Project says that the contract engineering industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the personnel business and means that the company’s services will continue to be in high demand for the next decade.
