Technology for Communications International Inc, Fremont, California reports that shareholders of BR Communications Inc have approved of the acquisition of BR Communications by Technology for $7.75 a BR share: prior to the merger BR had 4.0m shares outstanding, of which 49.6% were held by Technology, so tidying things up will cost the latter about $15.5m; BR HF frequency management systems to provide virtually 100% reliability for HF communications and Technology designs signal collection, specialised communications and HF antenna systems.
