Bourne End, Buckinghamshire-based Techland Systems International Ltd has an enhancement for its Midrange Remote facility which enables an MS-DOS micro or PS/2s to emulate an IBM 5251 model 12 remote workstation or 5294 controller, so that the personal computer can simultaneously support seven host sessions with its printer acting as a host system printer: the new integrated version, Supersynch, offers users the ability to dial up, either via the public net or a leased line, an IBM AS/400 host computer and use all the faciliities of PC Support/400; Techland’s remote access facilities are available for use with an external personal computer modem, or with an integrated V26 or V27 modem and emulation all on one board.
