The real time dashboard will be available online at TeamGB.com and to download on Android and iOS mobile devices.
Fans can stay up to date with the latest real time news during the Olympics along with a full and interactive Team GB event schedule.
"With the evolution of sport viewing habits, Team GB LIVE is a platform where you can build your own personal Olympic experience and follow just the things you like," says Joe Morgan, Digital Manager for Team GB.
The desktop and mobile app can be customised by choosing only specific athletes, events, and venues users want to follow.
Besides receiving live updates fans can also go back and retrieve previous results from athletes or events they are following.
Team GB live have also launched a live blog which aggregates content from reporters, Team GB and athlete social channels, along with content from behind the scenes at Team GB from BOA.
‘London 2012 will be the first Olympics told in 140 characters and will be the most watched, tweeted, liked, tagged and checked-in event the world has ever seen," says Morgan. "Previous Olympics have been a curated experience with broadcasters controlled what the viewers at home see. Now the power is with the fans to consume the Olympics the way they want."
