Computer personnel consultancy Task Force Group Plc returned a healthy set of mid-term figures on Friday – pre-tax profits were up 46% and turnover rose 56% (see Company Results, page 5) and chairman Tony Martin said that growth in the employment service industry, both for permanent positions and permanent labour, continues unabated; the group expanded its industrial division through the acquisition in April of Planned Labour Hire and its subsidiary Kemray Engineering; he forecast better still for the next six months – demand for Task Force services traditionally rises in the second half of the year.
