ERP management outsourcer OneNeck IT Services has said that Targus Group International, a supplier of notebook carrying cases and accessories, has extended its existing IT outsourcing contract with the company. The new multi-year contract marks the fourth renewal by Targus.

OneNeck has won the renewal contract through a bidding process. The deal calls for the continuation of 24/7 management of Targus’ IT operations related to their Baan enterprise systems infrastructure.

The agreement includes application administration, database administration, operating system administration, WAN/LAN management, and application development for Targus’ 45 worldwide offices, overseeing distribution in over 145 countries.

Chuck Farner, CIO of Targus Group, said: “OneNeck is an extension of our business and a critical enabler of our IT strategy. However, in the current economic condition we thought it financially responsible to put the renewal out to market.

In the end, OneNeck’s ERP expertise, comprehensive solution offerings, and competitive pricing made OneNeck, once again, the best choice for us.”
