Data integration software firm Informatica said TargetX, a relationship recruiting firm for colleges and universities, has embedded Informatica Cloud as part of its flagship salesforce.com platform-based Student Recruitment Manager (SRM) offering.
TargetX’s SRM is a Higher Education’s CRM offering on the Force.com platform, which helps in redefining higher education recruiting in the new economy.
The inclusion of Informatica Cloud into TargetX will allow retrieve information of college recruiters and admissions officers easily; deliver adaptability and time-to-value relationship recruiting offering; and will accelerate and reduce the costs of customer (university) on-boarding.
The new SRM is a comprehensive cloud service for managing the student recruitment process, end-to-end, consolidating and delivering real-time information on prospects, applicants, schools, touch points and tasks.
Informatica Cloud provides TargetX customers with a self-service cloud data integration offering for integrating SRM with on-premise student information systems and other applications; and for importing and integrating information in industry standard file formats.
TargetX vice president of Engineering Peter Schiano said SRM is built on the Force.com platform, their customers can easily adapt the offering to their exact needs, and Informatica Cloud extends this paradigm with easy to modify and manage data integration.
