TantaComm, a practical call recording and quality monitoring applications provider for BPOs has launched TantaComm Protect, an evolution of its current PCI compliance enablement product.

The new product is a suite of applications designed to ensure the integrity and security of recorded interactions and enable BPOs to meet the 12 PCI-DSS requirements.

The company has worked in conjunction with industry QSA firm, Tech Lock, to design and architect a product that allows organisations to adhere to PCI compliance standards.

TantaComm Protect builds upon the organisation’s foundational interaction recording software within the TantaComm IQ product suite by providing an additional level of security beyond the compression that takes place when an interaction is recorded.

The new application suite consists of two levels of protection, Protect and Protect SE, where the end result is the same with each application.

Protect uses a secure database server while Protect SE uses an encryption server cluster to securely manage the encryption key, said the company.

Tech Lock cheif security officer Michael Wright said, "The TantaComm Protect suite helps organizations achieve PCI compliance by keeping voice and screen recordings securely encrypted."
