TANDY MARCH SALES UP 9% TO $290M

Tandy Corp’s regular monthly pulse-taking of its business shows March sales up 9% to $290m, sales at US retail stores also up 9% at $247m, and business from stores open a year ago expanded by 10%; sales for the fiscal third quarter to March were 8% ahead at $839m, and full figures will be reported shortly.
