TAIYO ASCII ESTABLISHES 100%-OWNED SUBSIDIARY IN PEKING

And earlier in the week, software company Taiyo ASCII Corp established a 100%-owned subsidiary in Peking, where it hopes to take advantage of the availability of cheap labour, initially selecting 70 employees from an list of 500 applicants: the move is in response to the shortage of engineers in Japan, which the Ministry of International Trade & Industry will reach 700,000 to 1m by 2000.
