TADPOLE GOES TO FORTE FOR SERVERS

Tadpole Technology Plc, the UK-based maker of portable Unix workstations, has selected Oakland, California-based Forte Software Inc, an application development company, to provide servers for its field management system. Cartesia is a Java-based, hand-held information station targeted at field workers in utilities and telecommunications.
