T-Mobile’s new app to make unlocking easier

'Device Unlock' is available for download on Google Play Store.

By CBR Staff Writer

T-mobile is testing an app for the Samsung Galaxy Avant that allows users to unlock the phone with just one click, enabling users to switch to a different carrier easily.

Usually, to unlock a device, the user has to request an unlock code from the phone’s current carrier.

Once the code is given, the user will then have to enter the code through the settings, but this app simplifies the process with just one click.

In order to become eligible, the unlocking user has to pay off the phone and the account must be a customer of T-Mobile for at least 40 days.
