Systinet says its partner program is designed to provide federal, state and local government agencies with a technology that is able to create service-oriented architecture (SOA) and the Net-centric enterprise.

It comes as government agencies are switching from simple pilot deployments of web services products to what Systinet calls more comprehensive projects involving an enterprise SOA.

Among those signed up for the new Partner Program are BAE Systems and Raytheon, developers of defense and aerospace systems; strategy and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton; IT companies EDS, Lockheed Martin Corporation and Merlin Technical Solutions; and Titan Corporation, a provider of national security software.

Systinet has also revealed that it has secured a $1.15m award with five additional $200,000 maintenance options over a period of five years to provide the Enterprise COTS UDDI Registry technology to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Net-Centric Enterprise Services Program (NCES).
