The acquisition follows the UK-based group’s purchase of an 80% stake in MIS’s worldwide operation last December. According to Systems Union, MIS will maintain its independence and identity. MIS has 18 staff and sells a suite of business intelligence products under the name DecisionWare.
As a result of the sale, MIS Australia founder, Martin Kratky left the company and his role is to be undertaken by Systems Union managing director Bill Bryce. It is unclear how many of the remaining MIS staff will remain with the company following the sale, a company spokesperson said.
