SYNTHESIS SS SIGNS CONTRACT WITH ORACLE

Synthesis Software Solutions Inc, the MIPS Computer Systems Inc software operation in Sunnyvale, California, has signed a contract with Oracle Corp to implement and market Oracle Version 6.0 for the MIPS RISC chip: the agreement is said to be worth over $1m over a multi-year period, and the new Oracle should be available through Synthesis from the second quarter of the year.
