Syntellect Inc, an Atlanta, Georgia-based voice call center and information processing software vendor, has upgraded the Synthesizer applications generating tool it built for use with its own VocalPoint Interactive Voice Response systems, on Windows and OS/2 Warp operating systems. Synthesizer 3.0 includes voice management and software enhancements which the company claims simplify the development of applications that include complex functions such as computer telephony integration. It also features a new suite of voice management tools with which developers can view, record, edit, play, import and export voice files at their desktops. There are no details on availability and pricing. Syntellect merged with Telecorp Systems Inc last year (CI No 2,884) which supplies call processing systems to the media industry, including packages for pay-per-view order processing and predictive dialing telemarketing services, and claims around 60% of the US cable pay television market share.
