Syntellect Inc, which develops interactive voice response systems in Phoenix, Arizona, has teamed with TV Answer Inc, Reston, Virgina to develop and market interactive television systems and equipment: the two will develop interfaces to enable the Syntellect TV Answer Module to connect to TV Answer’s interactive television network – Syntellect voice response systems are already installed in 6,000 customer sites, including banks, insurance companies, government agencies and educational institutions; TV Answer is a wireless, two-way television service that turns television sets into two-way communications tools for shopping and catalogue sales, responding instantly to news polls and interactive advertising, and participating in distance learning.
