Syncsort Inc, the Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey based company that’s spent the majority of its life writing Sort utilities for IBM Corp MVS mainframes, has launched a high performance sort utility for Microsoft Corp’s Windows NT, saying that it has combined sort performance previously unavailable to NT users with record processing features needed for building large scale data warehousing applications. SyncSort for Windows NT is designed to speed up large database load times, and is said to reduce application processing times.
