Symmetric Computer Systems Inc, Fremont, California, is using the Intergraph Clipper C100 chip set in its new Model 875 computer, a highperformance pedestal unit for use in scientific, research, and engineering applications: the 875 also will be able to use the recently announced Clipper C300 when it becomes available this year, and Symmetric says that Model 875 supports as much as 128Mb main memory, 2.8Gb disk, 40 serial ports, and 10 NuBus slots for hardware extensions; it has both local area and wide area networking capabilities and is available this quarter, but the company did not give any price.
