An strategic partnership agreement between Symbolics Inc, Cambridge, Massachusetts and Sony Microsystems Co, Palo Alto, California, which is likely to involve an agreement for integration of Symbolics’ new Ivory artificial intelligence microprocessor into Sony’s News Unix workstation, is due to be announced today at an awkward 8pm London time.
