Called Symbol Advanced Series, the services promise to make it easier for enterprises to implement new mobile technologies through planning, assessment, analysis, design, management and support.
The RFID offering includes engineering design and onsite deployment expertise to streamline operations and meet regulatory mandates. Symbol said it would provide assistance needed ranging from site surveys to portal design and installation.
The company’s new Wireless Intrusion Protection System, or Wireless IPS, promises WiFi network protection from external threats and security concerns, according to Holtsville, New York-based Symbol.
And its new Mobility Services Platform works with enterprise IT departments to analyze their environment to reduce deployment times. The company can enable remote provisioning, monitoring and management of a local or global mobility network, said the company.
