Syclo, a provider of mobile enterprise software, has launched SMART Service Manager and SMART Approvals Manager mobile apps in support of SAP offerings for use with BlackBerry smartphones.
New mobile apps help companies extend the use of the SAP ERP and SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) applications to BlackBerry smartphones, the company said.
The company claims that the SMART Service Manager for use with SAP CRM provides paperless workflow capabilities that include dispatching service orders right to technicians’ BlackBerry smartphones, accessing real-time information from SAP CRM, and updating these systems in real time from an intuitive mobile application.
According to Syclo, the SMART Approvals Manager is a routing and approvals offering that lets users view and act on notifications and alerts from SAP ERP and SAP CRM right from their BlackBerry smartphone’s inbox, enabling users to respond and keep processes flowing.
Syclo said that BlackBerry app development toolset leverages the capabilities of the BlackBerry platform, including real-time push technology, highly contextualised controls and tight integration of Syclo’s software with core BlackBerry smartphone applications.
