Sybase Inc, has released version 11 of its Watcom C/C++ application development system. The system provides a development environment with tools, software development kits and libraries to create 16- and 32-bit applications for personal computer systems. New features include support for Intel Corp’s MMX technology, new Pentium pro optimization, and improved C++ language features. Watcom C/C++ supports 16-bit MS-DOS, all Windows formats, OS/2 Warp and OS/2 1.x and Novell Inc NetWare Loadable Modules. It will ship this quarter, priced from $150.
