Further demonstrating its position as the leading supplier of e-Business software to the worldwide market, specifically the Asia-Pacific region, Sybase announced a strategic partnership with Samsung SDS, the leading systems integration, systems management and e-Business company in Korea. Through this partnership, Samsung SDS will integrate, brand and promote its Communication and Community ACUBE application modules with Sybase’s e-Business platform. Combined with Sybase’s Enterprise Portal, EAServer 4.1, and Enterprise Application Integration products, Samsung SDS’ Bizentro, REQUBE, WiseVIEW, and ACUBE modules will be enhanced to provide a complete e-Business solution, allowing customers a smoother migration and integration with Web services.
The integration of these technologies will provide customers with expanded technical capabilities, including the ability to manage formal and informal groups, encourage collaboration, enhance work processes and automate the information infrastructure while providing feature-rich applications that support functions such as email, instant messaging, calendaring and knowledge management. Sybase’s technology will strengthen Samsung SDS’ solution offering with a unified architectural platform, and application integration products and tools that will allow customers to leverage their existing investments while providing an open, standards-based infrastructure that doesn’t lock customers into proprietary systems.
