Sybase said the combination of the Moto Q and Sybase iAnywhere will give users greater control of their applications, and enable companies to effectively manage and move critical data and content from the data center to the front lines of their business and back.
Products that support the Moto Q include Sybase’s Afaria device management and security platform, AvantGo internet service, and M-Business Anywhere development platform.
In addition, there is support for Sybase’s M-Folio web access application; OneBridge infrastructure software that mobilizes enterprise applications; and SQL Anywhere mobile database and synchronization offering and Unwired Accelerator, which is said to be a rapid development environment that quickly mobilizes web-enabled enterprise applications, databases, and other data sources.
Sybase said Moto Q also benefits from support from its XTNDConnect PC, an application that enables users to synchronize contacts, calendar, tasks, email, and notes between mobile devices and PC applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, Lotus Organizer, and ACT!
