SYBASE CANCELS TOOLS STRATEGY BRIEFING TO MAKE SALE

Sybase Inc’s tools strategy briefing scheduled to be held in London on Tuesday this week was scuppered when European PowerJ manager Raoul Dorissen had to dash across to the States to help out on a sales bid. Sybase was planning to explain the strategy behind its PowerBuilder, Power++, PowerDesigner and PowerJ tools (CI No 3,135). Maybe Dorissen just wanted to catch a fleeting glimpse of a potential customer.
