SWISSAIR PAYS $7.5M FOR 23% HOLDING IN NEW MALAYSIAN COMPANY

The airline Swissair has paid $7.5m for a 23% holding in a new software development company in Malaysia: the new company, using IBM hardware, will provide software services for the international airline market as well as for private and public sector companies in Malaysia; the software company is jointly owned by Swissair and four other companies including the national carrier Malaysian Airline System.
