SUS Holdings Plc and three subsidiaries, Megatex Ltd, Eurolan Ltd and SUS Computers Ltd, went into receivership with Arthur Andersen & Co on October 22. Attempts at refinancing the businesses had proved unsuccessful and both the companies and their assets are now up for sale. The firms employ approximately 60 people and engage principally in the sale and rental of Digital Equipment Corp kit, doing some UKP28m a year turnover all told. The whole of the issued share capital of Computerent Plc, Technology Procurement Inc and Technical Engineering and Maintenance, Team, Plc is also for sale, but the receivers will only consider offers from a single puchaser. These companies are not in receivership as yet. Arthur Andersen is investigating their current financial position, and hopes to enable them to continue trading until buyers can be found for them. Team provides computer maintenance and disaster recovery, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SUS Holdings. It has 50 staff, and is trading normally at the moment. The receivers expect to conclude its sale in the near future.
