SUPERMICRO HAS NEW PENTIUM II MOTHERBOARDS

Supermicro Computer Inc, the San Jose, California-based motherboard manufacturer, has six new Pentium II motherboards using the 233MHz, 266MHz and 300MHz flavors of the Intel 440LX chip set. The PC-98-ready boards are said to be the first to exploit the full capabilities of the Pentium II, supporting EDO/SRAM, the Accelerated Graphics Port, 33MHz Ultra DMA direct memory access and Wake-0n-LAN technology which enables personal computers to be switched on across a network.
