SUPERMAC LAUNCHES DATAFRAME XP150I

The SuperMac division of Scientific Micro Systems has launched DataFrame XP150i, a 150Mb hard disk drive for the Apple Mac II in the UK: DataFrame boasts an access time of 16.5mS and is being targeted at users with Macintoshes in a DEC environment amidst claims that it runs faster than any other drive currently available on the market; the UKP2,395 XP 150i also features a Run Length Limited controller which increases data storage and transfer speeds by 50%, and comes bundled with UKP300 of utilities.
