Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) will also help consolidate three disparate SunTrust CD-Rom image delivery systems onto its CheckVision program, which stores electronic bank statements, account reconciliation reports and check images and enables banks to provide these to customers via CD-Rom or internet.
As part of the agreement, SunTrust will use CheckVision to centralize its delivery services to commercial clients, with the aim of reducing unit costs by eliminating redundant delivery systems.
Bill Cunningham, general manager of CSC’s integrated payments organization, commented: By leveraging the integrated delivery capabilities of CheckVision, SunTrust will continue to differentiate its commercial banking services from the rest of the market.
