The product development venture, SunSolutions, a new moon circling Sun Microsystems Inc’s Sun Technology Enterprises, last week launched its first product, ShowMe, its computer conference software: based on Open Look, it can be deployed for on-line meetings and collaborating on compound documents in real time over a TCP/IP network, the company says. The software is shrink-wrapped and said to be channel-ready. It is to ship this summer at $350 for a single-user floating network licence with documentation. A licence for 10 users costs $2,870 and $5,975 for 25 users. It will be distributed by Sun, SunExpress, Access Graphics Inc, Arrow Electronics Inc and Qualix Group Inc.
