SUNSOFT REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO SOLARIS-FOR-INTEL

Despite observations by the competition that SunSoft Inc’s commitment to Solaris-for-Intel may be waning, SunSoft boss Janpieter Scheerder says nothing could be further from the truth. Sunsoft thinks its Unix-on-Intel product could find renewed appeal for a couple of reasons, including recent trade reports questioning NT’s credentials and the suspicion that the Santa Cruz Operation and Hewlett-Packard Co may be falling out of love.
