Sun Microsystems Inc yesterday tried out computer systems president, Masood Jabbar as front man for its datacenter.com event instead of COO Ed Zander, the usual suspect at Sun hardware events. Sun will push Jabbar increasingly to the forefront of its public campaigns – a foil perhaps to the exuberance of McNealy and Zander. And Jabbar brought along practically his entire executive team to the event to ensure smooth delivery.
