SUN MICROSYSTEMS EXPECTED TO REPORT PROFIT AND SALES UP IN SECOND QUARTER

Sun Microsystems Inc is in line for fiscal second quarter net profit up about fivefold, and sales up about threefold, on the same period last year: the firm is expected to report sales for the period to December 29 of between $105m and $110m.
