The investment group led by Sun Equities, Far Hills, New Jersey, that has been building up a position in Computer Memories Inc, now has 8.3% of the equity of the Chatsworth, California disk drive manufacturer sitting on $30m cash but no current products: it proposes taking over the company and using it as an acquisitions vehicle.
