SUN DROPS LINUX SUPPORT FOR DAKOTA

Sun Microsystems Inc appears to have a good handle on what the likely competition will be further down the road. Not only has it abandoned the Windows NT version of its Dakota Scientific unit’s supercomputing programming technologies, it has also scrapped a Linux version. It is now only developing for Solaris. So much for supporting the Linux operating system.
