Sun Microsystems Inc denies that there is any plan afoot to standardize its Enterprise Java Beans component model co- developed by IBM Corp, Oracle Corp and others through the Object Management Group. It told ComputerWire that no decision had yet been reached on how or where to standardize EJB and said reported meetings between Sun and OMG on the matter were part of its regular consultations with OMG on a range of issues. Remember, it says, the already stated plan is to bring EJB and OMG’s own Corba components development model into sync.
