Sumisho Electronics Inc is to become the exclusive Japanese distributor of the APS software development support system from Sage Software Inc, Rockville, Maryland: the initial version of the $160,000 to $395,000 product will be in English for IBM 3090 mainframes only, but development of Japanese language versions for the similar mainframes from Hitachi Ltd and Fujitsu Ltd is in the plan.
