Enhancements include support for wider database support and greater support for cloud-based deployments

By CBR Staff Writer

SugarCRM, a customer relationship management (CRM) company, has added customization capabilities to its intuitive and open CRM platform, Sugar 6.

The latest platform enhancements include support for simpler customisation, wider database support, greater support for cloud-based deployments, and 8 new language editions of Sugar 6.

The announcements were made here at SugarCon, the company’s annual customer, partner and developer conference.
Following the debut of Sugar Logic this past fall, the latest release of Sugar 6 includes updates to Sugar Logic that simplify the customization process, yet provide developers and administrators with powerful new tools for building process-centric applications in Sugar 6.

New additions to the Calculated Fields capabilities offers support for Date and Date/Time fields and functions.

Sugar Logic has also been enhanced to include support for Dependent Fields inside Sugar 6.

Used by more than 65,000 organisations around the globe, Sugar 6 will include native language support for 22 languages. Newly supported languages include: Czech, English-UK, Estonian, Hebrew, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish and Turkish.
